Gifting Simplified

Once every year, there arises this problem of what to gift a friend on their birthday. Gifting in it self is a stressful task and it's all the more stressful if you happen to be buying a present for a teenage girl( Not being sexist here.). So let me make your life easier by giving you a list of items that make great presents for a teenage girl. This list is fool proof as it compiled by a girl who happens to be a teenager (me).

Let's get right to it.

1. A good book: If the birthday girl is anything like me and by like me I mean if her room is full of a million books then one more book is the best present you can give her. She'll love you for it and she'll cherish the gift. ( Make sure you discreetly ask her which book she wants. )

2. Hoodie: Every girl wants to look cute and be snug in one of these.

3. Chocolates: Put together a nice little basket or goody bag of different chocolates and a big jar of Nutella. ( Actually, just a big jar of Nutella will be totally cool too. )

4. Body Care Hamper: Girls love to pamper themselves, have great skin and smell like heaven so buy the birthday gal some nice skin cream, a body wash and a body mist or perfume and put it all in a cute bag.

5. A cute bag: I think all girls are biologically programmed to love bags. A pretty little bag is the safest present to give.

6. Accessories: Gift her a wrist watch or a bracelet or a chain or earrings or an anklet or all of them!

7. Poster: Gift her a poster or a collage of her favorite band or T.V show! She'll completely fall in love with something like that.

8. Handmade card: Last but not the least a handmade card. Everyone loves gifts with a personal touch.

I hope this post will help you pick the perfect present for your friend/sister/girlfriend.

Word of the day: Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is the longest word in the Oxford English Dictionary. It is a lung disease caused by the inhalation of fine silica dust.
